Engagement Data: We collect data related to your engagements including deliverables, communications, milestones, and payment transactions.

Usage Data: We automatically collect information about how you use the platform, including access times, pages viewed, and features used.

We use your information to:

• Provide and improve platform services
• Match you with relevant engagements and service providers
• Process payments and manage escrow accounts
• Calculate reputation scores and fundability assessments
• Generate aggregated insights for Signal Board (anonymized)
• Communicate important updates and notifications
• Ensure platform security and prevent fraud
• Comply with legal obligations

Engagement Participants: Information within engagement workspaces is visible only to engagement participants (Builder and assigned service providers).

Robin Hood Anonymity: Robin Hood identities are protected. Only display aliases and anonymized professional attributes are visible to Builders unless identity reveal is explicitly enabled post-engagement.

Investor Deal Flow: Startup profiles are only visible to Capital Investors if Builders explicitly opt into investor visibility with granular sharing controls.

Platform Intelligence: Signal Board insights are aggregated and anonymized—no individual startup or contributor data is exposed.

What You Can Export: You can export your commissioned deliverables, decision memos, performance scores, and authored work—your outcomes belong to you.

What Remains on Platform: Platform intelligence (Signal Board, scoring algorithms, pattern libraries), internal discussions, cross-engagement insights, and other users' confidential data are not exportable.

Data Retention: We retain engagement records and deliverables indefinitely for dispute resolution, reputation tracking, and platform intelligence. You can request account deletion, which anonymizes your personal data while preserving engagement outcomes.

We protect your data through:

• Encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest
• Multi-factor authentication (required for Robin Hoods, Capital Investors, and Admins)
• Role-based access controls for all platform resources
• Regular security audits and penetration testing
• Secure escrow handling for financial transactions
• SMS OTP verification for high-risk exports and actions

You have the right to:

• Update or correct your profile information
• Export your owned data (subject to portability rules)
• Request account deletion (with engagement data anonymization)
• Opt out of non-essential communications
• Control investor visibility (Builders)
• Configure anonymity settings (Robin Hoods)

We use trusted third-party services for essential platform functions:

• Payment Processing: Stripe for secure payment transactions and escrow management
• File Storage: AWS S3 for deliverable and document storage
• Email: Resend for transactional emails (authentication, notifications)
• SMS: Twilio for MFA and account recovery

These services are bound by their own privacy policies and our data processing agreements.

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising networks. Analytics are aggregated and anonymized for platform improvement only.
